Authorized Person (AP)
This course is designed to develop a working knowledge of Medical Gas Pipeline System based on the guidance given in HTM 2022/HTM 0201; Medical Gas Pipeline system and other current national regulatory guidance.
Competent Person (CP)
This course will enable delegates to carry out the installation, commissioning and engineering tests which are designated the duty of a Competent Person (as listed in HTM2022) and be aware of the dangers involved.
Refresher Authorized Person
For an Authorised Person to maintain their role, they should complete the Authorised Person refresher training course every three years.

Designated Nursing Officer (DNO)
This course is designed for clinical staff taking the role of Designated Medical or Nursing Officer, as defined by MS2675:2017 (Medical Gas System), having specific responsibilities with regard to the management of the Medical Gas Pipeline System in the event of an interruption of supply.
Designated Porter (DP)
This course is designed to provide porters with the knowledge required for the role of designated porter, providing the service of storage, transportation of medical gas cylinders and the replacement of cylinders on manifolds within the healthcare environment.
