The Global Centre for Work-Applied Learning (GCWAL) is an independent research and consultancy centre that works with organisations and communities to build continuing positive change and effectiveness. GCWAL aims to bring together practitioners, scholars and organisations committed to Work-Applied Learning (WAL) and related areas both in Australia and around the world. GCWAL engages in WAL research projects including: publications, conferences and seminars among other research activities. GCWAL offers, consultancy in change management including innovation and continuous improvement and professional development using WAL. GCWAL is committed to contributing to knowledge and improved practice of WAL and disseminating these pioneering concepts globally.
IIUM ACADEMY
IIUM ACADEMY OF GRADUATE & PROFESSIONAL STUDIES was originally named IIUM Centre for Strategic Continuing Education and Training and was established on 25th Feb 2015. The centre was renamed on 1st January 2018. The Academy primarily offers specialized postgraduate programmes catering for executives and working adults who want to advance their knowledge and qualifications through flexible arrangements that allow them to combine working and learning commitments. In addition, the Academy also handles selected pre-university foundation programmes, professional certification, professional development trainings and public courses for lifelong learning.
